Got the call that I’ve been laid off while getting ready for my vacation. Thanks WD, DM and ED! Worked there for 5 years and was the top performer in my team. However the new manager with zero management experience was groomed to take over. She was my peer and apparently saw me as a threat. Secretly meeting in the other bldgs, and promoted three levels! They lay off senior workers for new college grads likely to save overhead. It happened in my group.

you are not alone!
I just found out that my pay as a female senior engineer with over 5 years experience in Drive is roughly 25% less than that of new male grads being hired with similar degree.
WTF?
I guess they have 2 ways to rid of you.... fire you, or insult you.
The culture there is a joke and not good for health.
Take it from me, you can definitely get promote as a woman if you are willing to "go the extra mile " by working late, taking on extra projects to make the boss look good, and getting on your knees every chance you have to make him feel good.
