Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Shareholders : Giving Lawrie a payrise will affect DXC's bottom line ? DXC's failing revenue ?

Is it not in the best interest of the company to not to give Lawrie a payrise if DXC revenues are declining ?

If DXC want to pay employees below market rate shouldn't this include Lawrie's salary ? I think that would be the most fairest option.

Lawrie might be upset if he doesn't get a payrise but he'll get over it, just like DXC employees have had to get over over several years of no payrises.

Welcome to corporate America !!

You may not like it but Mikey's sole job is to create shareholder value for the shareholders.

How he does it doesn't matter, he don't care.

He will continue slashing jobs, he will continue selling bits off, we might even see another merger.

At the end of the day the Wall St. analysts will continue to back him whilst the share price is increasing.

When, (not if) the share price starts to plummet I suspect Mikey will drift off into the sunset and enjoy his ill gotten $millions and some new megalomaniac will step into his shoes and continue the trend until the DXC husk is completely stripped of value. At that point it will be sold on to some unsuspecting Indian outfit.

All the C level people then move onto the next corporate to start the whole process again of releasing "value" .

But hey, all that generated wealth will "trickle down" to the ordinary man/woman making us all richer (and if I believe that bull crap, God help me ! )

Please give that poor guy a rise. He deserves it than anybody else. Single handedly he is driving DXC towards success.

Any CEO like Lawrie who denies his hardworking employees a payrise then expects one himself is just a SELFISH, GREEDY individual.

GREED at the expenses of others is immoral and unethical.

A vote for a payrise for Lawrie is a vote for GREED. Lawrie a man disliked by many because of his selfish greed. If he was one of my family I'd disown the guy,

If he is a dictator I look forward to his inevitable downfall.

No payrise for employees should mean a paycut in real term for Lawrie.

Lets hope the shareholders put a vote of no confidence in for Lawrie.
