Yeah, it ain't 2008 and nobody needs to hang on for dear life mate. We remember how you walk out our co-workers into the cold with no notice to be told. Tables turned and your still facing the wrong direction. Looking backward at our own reflection as it waves goodbye with one finger indexin. Empty offices all around and no room to breath to be found. Who wouldn't think to leave? We see the top grow fat with rewards and wealth while Hold My Balls cries out for more benefits for mental health. It's just a job and we do it well, but don't call this a family. No way in hell.

Seagate springtown have been trying to get all operations from Normandale to Springtown within the last 3 years.It seems like it is still their aim.Springtown is an extremely busy site with alot of trials and new procedures getting tested.In all honesty i dont know how successful or unsuccessful they are.
If Springtown heads were any good, Normandale would have been closed a long time ago.

Ive been working in Seagate springtown for 17 years,I've become institutionalized is this terrible workplace.I pray for layoffs and pray that im lucky enough to get layed off.Im not the only person who thinks like this.Seagate as a company and Seagate springtown management make me and fellow workers detest their jobs.We are stuck here in a job we truly hate because of the lack off job opportunities in this city.I make minimum effort in my job as do many many other employees just to bide our time hoping and praying that there are layoffs/voluntary redundancies.Everything is wrong in Seagate springtown.Low wages(shelf stackers and refuse collectors) get a better hourly rate of pay.Bullying by management.Managers that are members of the Orange order which is an inherently anti-catholic organization.Cronyism and nepotism are rife.Seagate springtown is rotten to the core.
Many still around just do not have choice. We are in a situation where we work for this single company for 20 years, no transferrable experience for a new job, in our 40s/50s. Did not expect things to go this bad, but it happen and ouch.
Lots of people are "stuck" working for Seagate.They have no other options, they may be too old to get other employment or retrain for another job,they maybe from an area of high unemployment and seagate is the only option.Thats why people stick with seagate not because any love for the company.Bills need to be paid.Seagate treats people like sh1t because they know these people will not leave as there is no other option.
Yeah seagate treats it's employees like garbage. Like many others, I'm waiting for that package.
Look on the bright side, Seagate's reputation has caught up with it. Potential employees know how this company treats people.
