The previous CEO did a decent job of keeping the stock price respectable, this current CEO went on a buying spree that didn't make any sense, except maybe to extend the fiber footprint, but left a whole lot of voice equipment pretty much not being used.
How many times have outages been caused because WE didn't pay the power company - so they in turn turned off the power, and lo and behold there is a nice sized outage affecting all type of customers. Where did that money go - to the latest VIP vacation fund? Regional ops managers have to struggle to pay the power company to restore power. Great way to pay the bills WE!
I bet the FCC would love to hear this if 911 was affected.
