Thread regarding Sears layoffs

When your 991s go to zero value does your merchandise like stoves and refrigerators go to the scratch and dent stores?

Who picks them up?

Or do they go to the person that handles the RTV merchandise?

I was just told not to add them back into the 991s when they go zero

How do you tag them when they do go to zero?

This should be pretty interesting to see just how quickly they are removed from the floor

Apparently the $50 over cost doesn’t apply anymore either.. no more playing with the numbers

Normally if the price fell below cost I wd change the price to min if $50 over cost

What happens if item is sold below cost as far as the differences in price.. does the store take a negative hit?

Where would I find the job aid for 991 procedures?

Anyone know?

Well before it rolls to zero it goes to crazy low price of $189.57 for a fridge that “costs” $1,259.89

Is that what they really want done with them. I know the stuff wd sell for those rediculous below cost prices

I feel like the official-unofficial method is to re add the item to 991. My SGM never let us get rid of a large item that was 991 that rolled to zero. That being said, it’s been a few years since I was an mca, but I don’t think the job aid says to do that. I’ll have to check.

With large items we are deleting and re-adding to 991 what is wrong with that?
