I was WS FOPS tech central FL for almost a decade. I was waiting for something to turn around and actually rate workers on skills they bring to the company, however that never changed so I did.
The market is opening up and there is a lot of talented tech I've worked with in Greenville, Dublin, Hiawatha, and Rochester. I would suggest to start looking. Here is why.
I was a tech who was SME for just about every new product in Beta in Central FL. Waiting for WS to change was like watching paint peel. I posted for a couple internal but never even given a thank you email for applying. Its not what you know but who you know at WS. There lies the horcrux.
I posted for a position outside of WS and heard nothing, then I got a email asking if I was still interested? I said yes and within a week I have an offer letter with an 30% increase in base. Turns out I'm working for a wonderful organization worth over 1.5 B and privately owned. I will be using all my skills, PM/ENG/Tech/customer service and could not be happier. Its nice to have the owner say thank you for helping build a great company. God answered my payers.
