Thursday off sounds like a good strategy until you remember that people have been called while on their vacation to be notified of their termination. True WS story.

That's what building bridges looks like to me. (Remember that r----ded phase?)

Maybe so but even then you’ll need csts, cust svc, sales, etc. Doors won’t just close. I’m still wondering why there are seemingly more vps than employees.

I’d say that is fairly accurate if you take out the notion of “turning around”

Entirely. The timeline seems about right. We are going bankrupt by the end of October 2020, if not then 2025. The Aurelius suit doesn’t matter other than in terms of timing. They are betting on us defaulting and we will whether they win the suit or not, their tactic is to speed things up, either by the long shot of winning the suit or more realistically through a slow drip from legal fees defending ourselves. And it’s a good strategy.

I’d say we have about 4 or 5 years to turn it around at best 5.

We owe 6 billion dollars by 2025, we owe more than our entire market cap by the end of October 2020. We have interest payments to make in the meantime, are shedding customers, haven’t made a profit in a long time, have a terrible reputation in telecom both with customers and employees, and are now putting all of our eggs into a Hail Mary SDWAN/UCAAS basket. APPLE could not pull that off.

There was a good WSJ article on the lawsuit and how most people expect WS to win and most believe WS has a viable chance to turn it around within the next 5 years. The cost of insuring the bonds has dropped remarkably which is a good sign that WS is not going to default. So all you doom and gloomers there is a good chance. Nothing is guaranteed. Update you resume and be prepared but some of the hyperbole on this site is unreal.

Relax! Nothing you can do about it, and it will happen, sooner or later! Update your resume and be ready. Enjoy life, it’s too short to worry about WS.
