Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Layoffs starting next week?

There's a lot of pressure to start layoffs next week

-due to 50 year celebrations Intel has been delaying bad news

-Q2 results next week, quarter was probably ok but guidance will be awful (or Intel continues lying)

-new CEO will be announced

-10nm failure

-BKs pet projects will be killed

-"shaping Intel to be competitive for next 50 years"

No such announcement is made usually before quarterly updates though right? Also, Intel is doing fine right now - yes I've seen the posts about culture and 10 nm etc. but layoff at this time will be worse for company and employee morale don't you think? What if more good employees choose to leave or are let go?

Definitely time for layoffs! Gotta chop down and burn the deadwood who continue to be unproductive but lie about their achievements. They have a knack for hiding out and can't be found during layoff season.
