Read what is written about BHP Billiton shale sale says that their Fayetteville going to an equity funded private player funded by OPM(Other people's money).
Rumors abound that FAY has been sold. It will be announced in the next quarterly meeting. Any truth to this? I'm buying a F**K ton of SWN stocks now if this for reals!
Let’s see what offers come in ... way and team have painted themselves into a corner if a large number doesn’t come in from the auction .. at least. $2 b for the whole show , the situation is screwed .. analysis suggests that’s we need 2b$ for Fayetteville to line up with valuations in other assets that , along with debt would leave maybe $2/ share for everyone ...
... it’s also notable that there still isn’t really any re org after the 200 layoffs .. same structure / lots of evp/VP/ etc .. but no action to grow the company
