Heres the scoop.
Its was nothing more than the weekly conf.call ,More of the same , D.M trying to sell resort swamp land ,don't believe what you hear or see the company is doing great, it's all Fake News . I swear I almost threw up.
I was on the call too. I heard different, from now on we're only open on Sunday from 12-1pm.
@UZ19zI0-hap was on the same call and everything @UZ19zI0-fwl said was true. Sad sad day
@UZ19zI0-fwl is spreading fake news. Auto techs are very hard to recruit and keep. Cutting their hours means the end of that auto center and sure way to close that location. So it would be better for Sears to close it rather to have it half opened.
how many auto centers are still open? so then 100 closed to that has to be a large chunk. also, I assume that list of closings will be with the eventual earnings release?
This doesn't sound true. Makes no sense to have a part time store, it's either closed or open, no retailer does this.
Wow-open 15 hours a week. I don't think you will have any problem getting rid of techs. Retaining might be a issue.
@fwl, I wish that were the truth.

Call from your personal phone ,as Sears no longer has phone service.

It is probably just a discussion about the nationwide rollout of the Amazon tire deal. A big ado about what everyone already knows. And a discussion to upsell everything they can, to maximize the revenue since Amazon brought us customers.
