Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

A painful truth is better than a comforting lie.

We are being lied to, by management, media, government, the entire establishment is lying to us.

I know we are told 1000000 times a day how "BOOMING" the economy is, stock market all time highs, etc, etc.

But folks, the stock market is ALWAYS at an all time high long after the real economy tanks. Every single time it's been that way. And if you think the economy is BOOMING, you will have to explain the endless stream of layoffs on this very site, in every sector, every major company.

Go to "Latest Posts" and spend some time reading. This would not be happening if the economy was BOOMING.

Yes, the media lies, the government lies. Called Fake News. Welcome to 2018.

Pro tip, the 1950s are long gone and "globalist" is how business is done. Your American car is a mix of parts made in the US, Mexico, Asia etc. Most goods manufacturing is in Asia now. Manufacturing won't come back to the US because you cheap f---s wouldn't pay what American-made goods cost, no matter how much money you're making. Americans want everything, cheap, now, and we're reaping what we sowed. Capitalism uber alles! Enjoy!

All our leaders are globalists. Middle class jobs going to foreigners. Walmart is not an American company! It’s on the list of largest importer of Chinese sourced goods

There are 2 economies. The news focuses on the Wall St. Wall St is doing well so Duhmerica must be too. Not true. You have the middle class economy which is how the economy should really be judged. And the latter isn't doing all that well. Minimal pay raises for the past 20 years that don't even come close to the yearly cost of living increases. So we make less and less each year. New jobs being created there are barely minimum wage in which you 2 or 3 to even eke out an existence. The 1% owning more and more that they can't even spend in 100 lifetimes. The illusion of the gig economy where the worker uses their time and resources for pennies while the people that created the business get rich. I can go on and on but you can see the reality of life in Dumerica.

Agree. It's called propaganda, and it's a cleverly weilded instrument used against We the Sheeple who, time and again, self-selectively buy the lies. And why?

To boost advertising revenue. And win re elections.
