Thank you to the former employees who post about life after Pearson. I’m working on my exit plan and it’s scary but I’ve just had it! Every year it’s the same sh**%! I remember KC at the NSM talking about how BTS should be a non event! Ah ha! Good job Pearson- the 2018 Pearson BTS is the ultimate disaster and will facilitate the push to OER! Who in their right freakin mind wouldn’t consider it? The end is truly right around the corner folks!

It is heartbreaking that so many current employees post here due to the desperate situation at Pearson. I don’t know if leadership reads any of these posts but I truly hope so. So hard to believe that this once great company, where people loved working, has fallen so far. When MS lead, we were inspired and had a mission. We have our all everyday. Now everyone is scared, feels bullied, takes a beating from customers, and left unfulfilled at the end of day. Just SAD,
The end is near for the majority of the salespeople at Pearson. This company is shifting from a relationship - based sales model where Pearson and academia work together in order to spur lifelong learning. It's slowly being shifted to a transactional process where the supplier doesn't bear the cost of any sales overhead and instead offers educators the opportunity to sterilize the content procurement process. It will be automated, digital and completely devoid of front end sales. Why do you think there's an entire division of post-sales people who are simply here to support post - adoption activity? KC was at the bar in SD when sales awards were going on (witnessed by many). He couldn't care less about you guys. He's automating this company into a monolith with no heart and eliminating personnel in what is disguised as a strategic process. The board and its major stockholders have bought what the snakeoil salesman has sold them. Step up to the vending machine, put your quarters in the slot, push a couple buttons and earn your degree, while going into crippling debt. Congrats, graduate! Mom's calling you for dinner. Night night Pearson.
