Starting Oct 1st all IT will be in Infosys
Deal is set between Verizon and Infosys. Starting Oct 1st all IT employees except people managers will be moved to Infosys. Announcement will be in September.
I think you will not see very many of the 1000+ rebadged US employees moving to InfoSys in this outsource deal. Makes me wonder how they will meet the SLAs of the applications they are taking over.

Working conditions are worsening and there is extensive exploitative employment practices being implemented by Indian IT services companies, the company mentioned above is the place where this form of traditional Indian family business groups style practices started to maximise profit after taking work at low rates. it had its good run and it is pay back time as tech pros have virtually boycotted that notorious mumbai family business group which is on its way to - ultimate closure of operations
lets us hope the professionally managed infosys, TCs dont go that way and ruin the future of indian IT sector as freshers are already opting out of It services jobs
working on outsourced verizon projects in India can be hell and worst form of exploitative employment practices have been found to be used in one verizon project in tech mahindra.
the project has about 70% attrition rate and recruitment is done every week and low grade hires are on boarded to keep the support service live.
