Heard from a manager we should be okay this week. He has no reason to lie to me, so I've decided to trust him on this.

There is no securtiy at AIG. In 2 years this company is going to look very different and will really be lean. Mark it down. Keep your resumes up to date because the layoffs are not going to end until 2019.
I heard that the layoffs are going to pick gain more momentum next week after the holiday.
What security do you have that you will be alive tomorrow?
Work at AIG as you live your life, make the best of it today but know that tomorrow is not guaranteed.
