Word from corporate circles is that DS plans to break the Union at any cost. Continued layoffs of all union members until numbers low enough to allow a strike at contract renewal without incidentto CTL. Continued layoffs in Q4 2018 will specifically target craft employees to align with this endeavor.

What's funny is, National Field Ops laid off techs but is now hiring techs. Doesn't make a damn bit of sense.
this site is supposed to be for information about Layoffs that are coming up , rumors etc. it is all good information, keep informed , stay vigilant , Trolls will come on here and bash the union - so what just ignore them . I worked for 20 yrs in National field Ops and still have contacts in management , got laid off too. I welcome anyone who wants to VENT. Comments back and forth , The more mature will not be affected .
These people are not pu--y, whiners, victims etc. Ignore The insulting Trolls , Ignore the self righteous insults, get on with life be prepared, We are all making a living at something.
We have been hearing this for 40 years. Last I looked Managers and Supervisors were getting laid off as well as personnel in call centers, Testers Engineers, as well as other support and design positions and everyone else Union or Non Union.
If your going to Troll bring something new to the table with facts to back it up.
