Full time?

To any Managers or PTC that can answer this question. How many consecutive weeks of working 40 hours as a part time associate do you have to work before becoming automatic full time? Will they let you know, or will they just let it go?

By creative design, the goal is to make sure benefits are unobtainable. Thus the slashing of career associates and hiring of PT status only. Not rocket science. Benefits cost companies money.

It is suppose to be anyone who works an average of 34 hours or more for 12 consecutive weeks should be made full-time, but it is not automatic. Will they let you know? They should. If you have a competent PC they will fill out a discussion sheet monthly and give it to your manager who is suppose to cover it with you. A competent manager will review it and figure out how you are working full-time hours as a part-time associate.

Most of the time this is due to manager's over scheduling their part-time associates. Another reason is associates who are scheduled maximum part-time hours working past their schedules. Will they let it go? Yes, it does happen. This is not fair to part-time associates who are missing out on full-time benefits. This is one of the many reasons you need a great PC in your facility to ensure compliance of this policy.
