Yes, they must cut the people who work to support that 43 million pay for the CEO who is tanking it! There are 3 managers in the KC office who are worthless, just getting rid of them and their cronies would save a lot in costs. But AIG doesn't think like that, they prefer to keep the over paid who don't do a thing!

I work in another state in another Service Center and a few of the Managers are a piece of work. They act like spies in the office when the AVP can't be there. They are very subjective in what they report from their spying. It wouldn't be bad if they were objective and told the truth. Very sad that they have some of these AVP's that can't be in the office fooled. There is a Manager in my Service Center that tries to act friendly and like a friend just to get information and then reports her version to the AVP. Very sad that this is how a claims manager acts. Not professional and shouldn't be earning the salary she does. I believe that what goes around comes around.
Quality was gutted 13 out of 15 let go, the other 2 reassigned. Some from UW, a few managers & a director, were also escorted out. Total around 54 but more coming by the end of Sept.
Can you provide additional information on departments hit by the layoffs today in Olathe? I also heard there was supposed to be a town hall in Olathe today. Did that happen? What was said?
To anonymous who posted ‘Lay Offs’ I’m with you I have long thought the same way there are managers at the KC SS offices that aren’t worth a plugged nickel I often wonder what is it that they do my manager is more a facilitator by that I mean approves time off time sheets etc I do not have to rely on this manager for much of anything which takes me right back to your post absolutely tip heavy with gutless punchless hypocritical favorites playing management at KC Shared Services I saw many of my closets colleagues get RIF’d today & ive seen others just walk out this place has no soul there’s no appreciation for anyone’s contributions none USS AIG Titanic is sending out an SOS nobody cares anymore
