3 of our head directors were laid off in community and state this week. Time will tell if more layoffs are to come.

What state? What department? I was laid off on Aug 30th as well, trying to get a petition together for a trade act certification. They are clearly backfilling these US based jobs with “OGS” positions. https://www.doleta.gov/tradeact/
This will at least help those of us who are affected get some training and re-enter the job force.

Knowing how many millions and perks CEO's make yet those who do the grunt work get the layoffs.
That's how it started in BPQM (now Quest) about a year ago.....come October and November, a lot of people were laid off due to budget reductions and department downsizing. Hopefully not the case in your area, but I'd be extra alert if I were you. If they start asking leaders about their employees' training, MAP ratings, and skillsets, it's probably not a good sign....as those higher up are likely using that info to determine who to keep (or repurpose) and who to cut. Speaking from experience.
