Thread regarding Sears layoffs

OMG!!!!$#%@$

I just saw the news on TV! Orchard Supply Hardware, another subsidiary of Sears Holdings, is completely shutting down and going out of business. They said the liquidation sale is expected to begin immediately. This is the beginning of the end for SHLD.

The stock is tanking for other reasons.....OSH has nothing or very little to do with what is happening to SHLD stock. It's been trending downward anyway.... store closures and the upcoming Q2 financials release are why it's tanking, not OSH.

@UMf4TTJ-tir: Enough to where the Sears name can be associated to it in some form to cause their stock to tank even more today.

Lowe’s owns OSH now. However it’s yet another failure Sears and Kmart had a hand in. Sports Authority, Borders, Waldenbooks, Builders Square/HQ, Penske Auto Centers, The Great Indoors, Homelife...
