Emphasis is on pdq quickness for mod resets, seasonal, truck to floor, stock rooms in gm and produce, dairy etc should be worked and should be constantly empty but it's not. Walmarts invested into better technology so there should be more focused, timely, precise inventory, changes mod resets. Like the snack areas. One person comes in, refills, cleans up and goes leaves in a few hours everyday. Why can't the associates do that? We've had full teams working every aisle and there's nothing consistent about it. Comparing east vs west, regions, aisles, age, longevity, etc. A team of 4 out performs teams of 10 or more people restocking the same shelves.

There are plans to phase out 15 year + associates as they're not as productive as younger or newer employees. Third to 1/2 assistant managers will be cut as also they're not productive on the floor or working the program. there is still too many managers, and layers of management at the store.

At Sam’s club they kept all of the new ASMs and fired the long term ones. So basically the new ones are coming in so they can eliminate the long term more expensive ones. That is why all of the clubs look like c-ap now. The 20 something year old managers with no experience have no idea what they are doing.

The trials for ASM leveling are starting now in the Tulsa area, maybe others. Will be rolled out to everyone, the word is after the holiday. Be ready.

Based on favoritism and if you make too much. Bringing new mgrs in af like 40,000 and getting rid of whomever make more the 60,000. Sam's club did it. And if you want your severance you sign a agreement and cant sue. I know I was one let go at Sam's Club was there 10 years no coachings and was let go. Wasn't a fav and was making too much.

This is sweeter than summer wine :) ... There are assistants like Sharon N. and Crystal K. at 2728 in Decatur Il. who I would dearly l o v e to get front rown seats to watch squirm and stew in their anxiety flavored juices over this..........a richly deserved, long over due poetic karmic justice for all the good people they've tormented for many years.

Maybe Target's hiring, 'ladies' ~

They’re going to get rid of all the ones that have coaching or have been in position for a long time. They want new people in roles.
