It is sad they try to pretend to know industry. None display a real understanding of business and finance.o But the outcome is financial ruin and a lack of credibility. It was sad to see some of the same corporate offices were still held by the same people who drove SeaWorld into the ground the first time around when AB took over the company in the 90s. They held the same id--tic ideas that started the present decline. They need to keep politics and business separate. They need to stop reinstituting good old boys club which has NEVER died. Putting delinquents in jobs that your salary may ultimately rely on is duhduhduh....
As I regress, I worked for company over 35 years. I have a business degree that they paid for but chose not to use the benefit because my management was not further educated. So they do not improve the infrastructure of the park to save money
They lay people off to save money
They create a bad hierarchy of management as in all managers and directors are created equal- except managers don't get a raise or extra benefits, directors keep pay but feel like the rug has been pulled out from under them and they all have new VPS who do not have a clue about the new areas put under them. This makes everyone feel confident doesnt it? BRAVO! Thank corporate for thinking this through before making changes. Can't say I blame everyone for preparing to jump ship!j
