Well it appears that everything that is not union is being targeted. It looks like those positions are being let go and being replaced by contractors. Previous comments in past postings have made references to the fact that Jeff Storey like to replace employees with contractors.

He is going to figure out how to layoff as many Centurylink employees as he can and bring in contractors and find a way to get rid of the union.
Remember it’s all about getting the stock price up and bonuses for leadership, not for all the workers. He does not care, good example is he got $3 million last year and no Centurylink employees got Christmas bonuses, only those who were former Level3 employees.
Truth
