We all know that almost all HQ employees are honestly utilized at most about 20% of the time. And most of this time is spent on useless requests from useless managers desperately protecting their own empires, while incompetent Leadership Forum members protect their own turf. But they have their own special parking places and executive compensation contracts.
If we hired consultants to accurately review and zero base our business activities, to serve our stockholders, 80% of HQ would be gone, with a subsequent significant reduction in BU admininistration after the micro-managing useless requests from Houston disappeared.
Can we do this ourselves? After years of reductions and asset sales the answer is “no”. But an acquirer has a huge value proposition here.
