Just today Brad Surak hosted an all hands meeting t update the product and engineer teams of the progress he has made. Unfortunately, Brad Surak could not make the meeting he specifically called for and instead pre-recorded a video which was light on anything of substance. Speculation among his own team is that he didn't want to be asked any difficult questions or made to look bad with his poor communication style.
