New school year begins- Why are you guys still working for such a creepy company like Follett after what they have been doing to all your former laid off coworkers- are you guys that desperate for you jobs- I guess you are- start chewing on that-

Wow! you like the company? One of the benefits of low expectations is you're rarely dissapointed. We're all happy for you. Settle into a 8-10 year run of low pay, poor benefits and annual layoffs. Finally, you'll be on an unscheduled call and someone will tell you a person from HR is on the line to answer questions. That's the day your number is up.

It’s really sad that you left (or were pushed out) and yet you come here on a daily basis to complain about Follett and the people who work here. Move on. Seriously. This is not and never was your company. You don’t own it and the do not owe you anything.
Many of us who work here simply come to this board for the comic value. When I think of you that are posting, my image of you is an obsese, unattractive woman, smoking a Virginia Slim and drinking a Mountain Dew.
We are doing just fine here. We like the company. That’s why we s--- around. I am sorry you were let go, but that is the past.
You forgot the unconsiously incompetent who belive they are exceptional. I've talked with many of them. They're terrrifying. If yoy laid off, or driven out it's because you're not as good as they are. They're exceptionalism prevents them from seeing the truth; follett will turn on any/every employee if they can save a buck.
I suspect current employees fall into one of 3 categories…
1) Too old to find another job that pays equal to or greater than – easier to wait out the inevitable.
2) Too incompetent to find a better job – so they sink to being weasels, throwing their fellow associates under the bus at every chance they get. Lot of these folks at HO (aka The Ivory Tower).
3) Don’t give darn, doing as little as possible – the part time help, collecting a pay check – low motivation employees. They REALLY help productivity! Lot of these folks in stores (aka The Profit Centers).
