Anyone have suggestions for a new industry outside of college publish?

There's always barber college.
There are a lot of small start ups in education that will value sales experience from Pearson--less politics, allows one to manage their own business without layers of micromanaging, and values feedback from the field to adapt quicker. However, territories are much bigger so travel necessary, limited resources, and somewhat on an island. You will also not have all the wasted spending on useless swag, NSM's will be a 3 star hotel instead of a 5 star, and probably lose out on a healthy expense account and car.
I got into the edtech space. It’s awesome. You get paid off every sale, no waiting on bonuses. No questioning all year long wondering how much you’ve actually sold, no random adjustments, no instructor/student/bookstore emails, I get my goal the first month of the fiscal, a growing industry. Oh and we actually get rep rankings. No good ol boy network and no stupid employee Facebook page where everyone goes to pat themselves on the back. No BTS BS. Essentially everything Pearson is not, which is what I was looking for.
