Layoffs have been going on in my building over the past couple of weeks. They haven't had a major layoff yet (hopefully they do not)
From what I understand, XIM already had an action last week by letting go of all (?) of their contracts. If true, this isn't a true action as no employees were hit, but it's not a good sign.
NYS WARN notice site typically posts notice 1-2 weeks after they receive notice. You won’t see anything on the site until after employees are notified.

I've heard 2 waves and the 1st wave will be this week or next and that Xerox will be required to file a WARN notice in New York, so its a large number.

Rumor mill ( and yes just that rumor mill so take this for what it's worth) says D-day may be next Thursday.
I think the person who posted this is just looking for attention. If there is a layoff coming, why spend time with family now? You'll have plenty of time to do that once you are let go,
