At least we settled something

At least this means that those jobs that would have paid for the rest of the $774 million fine are saved. For now, at least.

Qualcomm and Taiwan's Fair Trade Commission have made peace and agreed to settle the chipmaker's antitrust dispute in the country.

WSJ says 5 year investment amount is undisclosed. Taiwan keeps $93M from $773M. Rest goes back to QCOM. Nice cash cow windfall! MOOOOOooooo.

Haha! Part of settlement is that qcom will “invest” 700 million in Taiwan over next 5 years. Doesnt seem like a win for qcom.
