Minor layoff for overlapping Xirrus sales positions.

Like they knew anything anyway. This was dead wood that needed to be discarded. I'm appalled that we're even discussing this. The Xirrus team, as inherited, s---ed. They needed to be gone.
Not all of the Xirrus SEs were laid off. The majority of them were retained. Only some of the ISRs and Field Reps that were in redundant positions were let go with a good severance. Much better than most companies.
I feel sorry for them they are getting the shaft coming and going. i heard they didnt make squat off their Xirrus options when they were acquired. Then any Riverbed options they accumulated will get paid out at .09 per option. How is this "treating people with dignity" as they claim when the stock options are not fairly valued?
OK two handfuls then. There were not that many to begin with.

Probably less than a handful. Sales of Xirrus products has been integrated into the larger sales organization. Some overlay Xirrus sales managers are let go and some find territory jobs.
