You don't know what you're talking about, I know first hand that there is discrimination.
@U5I0WH7-crrs Glad to hear no cuts this quarter. How does the next look?
There will be no job cuts this quarter.
I repeat - there will be no job cuts this quarter.
b---s---!
There is no discrimination in layoffs on the basis of visa status or citizenship.
word
Spot on and absolutely correct. During one of the last 4 or 5 layoffs, the men that they brought in to fill positions (they couldn't fill with existing employees wanting to be promoted or with citizens of the US - ahem.... I'm being PC) from other countries were spared. If they were let go they would have to go back and most brought family with them. Yes, they have to stay with the company so Sabre found positions for each of them but citizens of the US were let go.
Right? Wrong? Sabre helped these families as to not disrupt their lives, however, they turned their back on the others.
H1s are more complex and expensive to terminate than citizens.
I would think that visa holders are more at risk or should be more at risk. Why would you say otherwise?
If you are us citizen look out for jobs. If you are visa holder do not worry you will be taken care in sabre.
Events that happened year ago should give some people clue that these days its good to be up to date with technology and have CV ready. I’ve bet that by the end of this month there will be so many surprised complainers...
