Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Remember back on 2/11/18 mandatory meeting when all that cross training was going to take effect?

Whatever happened to all that cross training we were suppose to have?

Weird how that just dropped out of conversations isn’t it

And what happened to all the supervisors and leads being reduced to ft30?

Our supervisors and leads are all still getting 40 hours a week! No wonder there are no hours for part time workers!

@UiyzXKm Leads and Supervisors getting less than 40 hours a week was never part of the deal. In our District all the Leads and Supervisors get 38 to 40 hours a week.

The whole cross training was finished. The problem is with little hours and not a lot of staff some workers are staying to do the same task that they are good at. Its a very tough situation since corporate dumped so little hours to hope that this process would work. Along a lot of workers are just plain on unmotivated to try to work harder.

Course at this point supervisors are going to get 40 or close to 40 because they have a family to provide. Anyone under basically gets screwed. In my store people are leaving left and right and someone new that comes is just so hard to train with limited hours. I never heard of this in my store about supervisors and leads getting 30 hours I know some leads or full timers get under the 30 hours, but other than that supervisors have gotten close to 40.

Sears management is easily distracted. Constantly abandoning things half-done.
