2 years behind schedule and only the bean counters know how much over budget and counting! They will never make a nuclear detector or generator again. Hope they have a supplier in China or India to outsource them to like everything else.

Hamamatsu is most likely going to be the manufacturer of PMT’s used by SLB going forward...
Is the nuclear business stopped? Is SLB still making nuclear tools? Or planning to buy a competitor with the same business?
Returning to Princeton might be too late, but that’s the only chance they’ve got. Too bad it’s taking them so long to see the obvious

1awt, you are correct. They are sourcing outside manufacturers for their nuclear products because they know that they will never make a detector or generator in Houston....
Schlumberger has no intention to continue making tools. R&D is too expensive and Wireline and D&M are eating their own by renting tools to the competition. They’ve become unable to compete due to the NWW and listening to the echo chamber of cost cutting yes men. Only a matter of months ....
As far as share price goes up, these all are genuine moves!
There is no work so why keep cost?
