I noticed recently that nobody smiles or laughs at the office anymore. Actually, there is an occasional laugh, but it pretty much only happens when somebody is turning the situation at Qualcomm into a joke or when somebody is bashing management.
How sad is that? This was once a great workplace and now it's just a butt of the only office joke.
Because the wrong people are being shown the door. Hard for me to smile when I see a colleague who has busted his or her butt for 15-20 years at the Q walked out while the 10th floor continues to fill their pockets. What a bunch of selfish, greedy a-holes.
Management is just an easy target, everyone blames management in every company. If you want to blame someone, look in the mirror.
That is because of all the constant layoffs very bad for morale.

When you say hello to someone in the hallways whom you do not know, you are unlikely to get a response these days.
I don't know, but obviously grand mistakes were made because people were so happy once upon a time to work where they did.
How sad is it? As sad as a CFO that has never improved a company's stock value making decisions that are designed to increase a companies stock value!
Or a CEO insulting every software designer in the company by telling them that "We don't make good software".
Talk about clueless management!!! They have no idea where they are going they just put it on the employees back and say PUSH!!!!
These f&^%ers have got to go!!!
