Signed my final paperwork after accepting the VSP. Walking out with $36,400, pension, and 401k. Leaving with my dignity and ready for the next chapter. Thanks to CWA and fellow workers. This use to be a good place to have a career, but it's changing and the way the company operates it was time to go. I hope you can keep the union strong because the future looks grim. CenturyLink was a stepping stone, no I'm going to take my talents to a company that shows value to their employees . I know that no company is perfect, but the low at CTL is worst I've seen and not looking much brighter.
My advice to anyone thinking bout the package. TAKE IT!! If your not happy then leave don't keep complaining because it's not going to improve much more that I can see. Corporate greed and shady business practices I did not want to represent by wearing the Centurylink logo. Good luck to all who try to ride out the storm.
