After 22 years with the bank, PNC started closing branches around my branch. They were merging another branch with my branch and told my employees that they should get a job elsewhere. I was the branch manager.
Suddenly, just before the merge, I was called in an investigated over gossip in the branch. They took my keys and told me later I was not forthcoming and terminated my employment. Very cold business. They left me flat without a job.
The firing practices should be investigated and people severed for unusual reasons without any previous warnings, should receive severance compensation.
