So nice to know that we can sponsor an Indy Car / Race from all the WFRs that are happening. Happy to know that the company isn't wasting money on anything important, like their employees.

Rest assured that your hard-earned bonuses and pay rises have been diverted to this unworthy cause which achieves very little except for giving VP and above the warm and fuzzy that DXC matters. The reality is that DXC is a dying duck in a thunderstorm. Mikey won't need a driver cos his car wont be seen in the race.
All the big bums like Swan and Henderson (Bionix god father) were there in the indy flying drones !

Has lawrie signed up knowing there will be a driver needed, or is this car being driven by automation?
My guess is that both the front wheels will want to go in different directions; the driver will stop in lapt 28 to seek level 3 approval for additional gas. He will then be replaced in lap 45 by a low-cost offshore driver (with no life assurance); whilst laps 80-90 will require frequent pit stops for minor mods, enhancments and 'scheduled' maintenance fixes.
By Lap 128, I would expect a long drawn out digital-cloud to emit from the exhaust before the back, firestone-radial leaves the car and bounces off into the public sector. The sidepod will detach and the fibreglass DXC logo will be later retrieved by collectors who mistake it as the Dolby Digital logo. The failure to make it into the top 100 finishing drivers will be blamed on cross-winds, write-downs and legacy tracks.
If you don't get it by now that DXC don't give a f@ck about current employees then you are completely delusional. DXC will happily replace you with an apprentice or a graduate. They don't care what skills or knowledge you have. It is a game of making money for the share holders and directors and that means they have to put the brand out there to get more investment to line their greedy pockets. Don't for one moment think that you are important to DXC. You should have realized that a long time ago!!
