Layoffs in Denver tomorrow too there is about 17 in my group and they say the company will not be done until they get the stock price up again.

1500 people in three weeks have been let go and not sure what the numbers will be by tomorrows layoffs.

good luck everyone.

N. Central Florida all Field techs approved for voluntary package. Force reduced by 25% and shifting areas to give the SROs more head count to keep their job. There will be more packages offered at end of summer and qtr. Once they get more PRISM customers to switch to DTV. They are not upgrading Florida plant and all the techs hired to work PRISM are not needed. With no upgrades or plant maintenance it's left to rot. Plus Comcast is coming in our gated retirement communities where we have 90% of the customers. They will be taking most of them because few can get 25meg most are 10meg. But Comcast burying fiber and 1g speeds. Not looking good at all. We will not be able to retain customers and they will not spend to compete. Yet cable company still upgrading and putting cable in areas. Good way to lose more techs. Then in a few years change job titles dare union to strike. Get out now or next package or be stuck with a dead end dying career at CTL.
