Came over to Fresh Cap 2 from CAP1. The process works (I've personally seen it) but you must have complete "buy-in" from all other associates, department heads, and managers. Stay on process, even when it seems to not be working; it rights itself with perseverance. Hold other CAP managers and teams accountable for their part of the process. Can't say it enough. Process, process, process. Thank you Karen for emphasizing that
Recently promoted to Fresh Cap 2 supervisor. Love it!!! Got a great team. Good morale. Have been there 3 months and have already had 1 associate promoted and soon to have another one moving up. Have associates from other parts of the store knocking down the door to join the team.
They are talking overnight frozen and dairy associates and putting them on Cap 1 since their job code will not exist after July 14. Cap 1 will now stock the FDD trucks along with the responsibilities they already have. Now there will be a CAP Fresh they will work the meat and produce truck and Cap the bins in those areas. Produce and meat associates will be divided into Cap 1 fresh and Cap 2 fresh the shifts are 4-1 for fresh 1 and 1-10 for fresh 2... Pretty much they are bringing back zone managers but call them Cap 1, Cap 2 and Cap fresh 1&2 supervisors. The grocery supports will fall into the fresh supervisors
Brace yourself!

Not sure why we are implementing new Cap teams when we can’t even staff the ones we have. All pharmacy sales associates gone with the Cap 1 team capping/running pharmacy .????? Has not happened yet and don’t see it happening anytime soon.
What I was told no one will be affected on cap team 1. They are making a fresh cap team which will be the associates that work in said departments. We are loosing our 3 shift frozen/ dariy associates. They will be asked to work cap team 1. Which will then working frozen/ dariy truck from 4am to what they are asking 9 am. But we know it will take whole shift to 1 pm. What I was told by a produce associate they were asked to start working 4am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 10 pm. No mid shifts. They are giving little Information in spurts so not all has been said to this recent changes.
