The very sad part is that everyone knows that bullying/intimidation is going on and not doing a darn thing about it. It's acceptable and unlike the playground bully, one cannot go up to them and throw a nice uppercut at them to make them go away.
Those bullies seek out other insecure managers and walk around shoving people out of their way. It's sad that bullying is a national problem particularly in schools globally. Pearson being an education company should do all they can to speak against bullying but cannot because it is rampant within the organization.
There are senior leaders at Pearson who drive employees to tears each day and they have minions doing the same thing with their teams. For every employee boasting about how great Pearson is to work for, there are 10 others in fear of theirs jobs due to the harassment and bullying they are experiencing from their manager.
Those leaders know who they are....probably not so tough outside of work and insecure with their inner well being.
