To areq: you seem to have missed one minor detail. Most of us who do very little or nothing are not getting WFRd. Only those minions who work excess hours are getting the hatchet on a regular cycle. That should tell you how inept this management team is and highlight the reality that the harder you work, the bigger target you are. As I stated earlier, this really is a pretty sweet gig once you figure that out. I need to get back to my nap.
Those who reply to this discussion that they collected a hughe salary doing absolutely nothing, thanks (??)... you nearly prove that WFR is a right decission (getting rid of people who only collect salary not doing anything to earn it). The colleagues of you who worked very hard and got sacked anyway won;t appreciate your input
"sickofthiscrap" is a Mikey stooge and obviously thinks that DXC is a charity. Get in to the real world and understand that there is a BIG world outside of DXC.

Anyone who works 80 hours a week for ANY company needs to spend some serious time on a Shrink’s couch. Find out why it takes you 80 hours to ‘prove your worth’ when there are people like me who get it done in 10. What are you trying to prove? Who are you trying to impress?
These are important questions to ponder and I hope you can find the answers for your sanity’s sake. But they have NOTHING to do with your job. When the layoff demon starts throwing darts, people with your work “ethic” are much closer to the bullseye than I am. So get off your pedestal and learn how to work smart. But don’t denigrate those of us who know how to survive and are happy doing so.
All these people who post and do nothing, I hope your fired without severance. Your getting paid to WORK, if you dont have anything to do then ask for work. F--- you! There are people working very hard and are being let go by the bean counters , you all should hauled out !

I worked from home for 65k uk pounds and did pretty much nothing for 10 years (well lots of golf) eventually the spotlight shined in my dark little corner and i scurried away with a years pay and a nice final salary pension.
HPE ES Year to April 2017 £60k. - Taxed up to £40% + 12% NI . (Payoff £70k in bank and pension)
Contract Year to April 2018 £108k. (Expenses £14k., Gross Profit £94k). - Corporation Tax 19%, Personal Tax 7.5%
I haul in $85k and do absolutely nothing. Not enough money for management to single me out, yet enough to imply I’m somewhat important. Really is s pretty sweet gig. But I admit watching all the people getting chopped for working hard is rather disturbing. They are just too naive to understand that hard work gains you nothing. Anyone can work hard; few understand the secret to longevity is apathy and idleness. Sad but true.
