Several people were mentioning layoffs would be happening today as well, but after yesterday turned out to be a either no layoffs day or very few (as in single digits few) layoffs day, I'm assuming today is going to turn out similarly?
If it's done, what is the final number of those who were cut?
Laid off after a long time with EMC then Dell and it’s hard to get back in the company if you don’t have a specific job speciality as my role was cut due to position reductions just very hard to land a new role once u are out not the case for all but maybe it’s just me all done time to go elsewhere

I do believe you have to live 6 months at a time at Dell. You can't really plan a career there it seems.
even if it is 'done' for now, there will be another round in 6 months most likely, and again 6 months after that

Staying at Dell is just dependent on who you know. Many talented left like a month before the culling started.
Rumor has that 400-500 people were let go this past week in Dell EMC. Various locations in the USA, not sure about outside, maybe some in China. It had to do with the new Storage roadmap from the senior leadership team.
