Is this true about managers and bonuses?

The managers are getting the raises or bonuses each year, none for the employees that make the results for the customer. The managers are keeping quiet because of the fury it will cause among the employees and because the managers are scared sh---less on keeping their jobs. They keep their jobs by RIF-ing the employees where it improves the department bottom line and then either dump the work load on the existing state side employees or offshore the work. I was RIF'd in 2017 and the mangers that I thought were my friends only called me to tell I was RIF'd after being out on sick leave. None of them bothered to call & check afterwards!

Obviously "@Ts5kKZf-ada" is sufficiently incentivated and their care factor is zero. How can VPs and above justify their BIG compensation top-ups? I have had no pay rise in 5 years and my pay is going backwards every day. When my manager asks me to do more work for less then they can get f---ed, especially as they are better paid than me.

"Incentive compensation" : well, I have incentive to be compensated for going above and beyond like any other person ( including the execs ) ... But the eyes are open to the fact that these self entitled do nothing's think we are not worth it . Ok ... Start rolling up your white collared sleeves , you snowflake execs, and enjoy getting busy as the exodus continues.

You guys won't be able to wash off this stink of treating the common Joe with this much disrespect ... It will be with you your entire lives .

But I guess you have to have a soul first , to feel any resentment.

I'm a director and as far as I'm aware, we're all in the same boat as the rest of you! Vice-Presidents and above are on a different incentive compensation scheme that provide stock options, but staff and managers and many senior management layers are all being asked to work more for less.

My understanding is that managers, certainly the ones closer to the coal face, are in the same situation as employees regarding raises and bonuses.

Sounds like those managers you thought were your friends, weren't really your friends...
