Major layoffs across Sam Grocott's Marketing Organization late April and now again today across the different business units. It's not how good you are, it's who you know and who you are in favor with at Dell (/EMC). Every month, they are laying off small numbers of employees across the globe and within regions. Seems to me they are skirting the US WARN act of 1998 by laying off small numbers of people which fly under the radar of the U.S. Feds.
Wednesday is layoff day at Dell for most employees, while Sales get's laid off on Fridays.
