More cuts coming to Sears side store management team. All remaining Salary ASMs will be cut and offered and hourly position with lower pay. Another cost saving measure. This will be announced after quarterly results announcement. Other cuts on the way.

I had to take a Zone Supervisor position when the ASM position was eliminated. Honestly, with the overtime I am making more than I was as an ASM.
Remaining Softlines ASM and Hardlines ASM will be called into the SM office.
So the last remaining ASM will either take the severance or stay in the company for a reduce crap pay. Just sad I know for sure her motivation will totally shatter after this big change is to happen (unless they plan to eliminate that position for good and dump it on some other supervisor).
