Absolutely correct about the listing of job titles and ages. I was laid off in 2015 after 21 years at QC. Included in my layoff paperwork was a page that I had no idea what it was. It had a listing of 4 job titles with numbers next to each job title. I had my co-worker look at it and she realized what it was. It listed the job title of each person in our group along with their age. I was the oldest one in the group - and the i only one to be laid off in the group. HR and the top director told me that "age was not a factor." And I told them that it was but that they could not say it was because I could sue them.
If the group is big enough, those laid off get a very very brief list of age/title. Its pretty darn clear, oldies get the boot. Non H1Bs get the boot. Q makes it 'legal' by using proxy criteria internally.
Wish they broke it out by age, gender
Many people, the best people, are saying the landscapers were trimmed. But who knows ? You tell me.
for the 44 people got laid off may 15th in SD, any idea which group they are from?
