or is it still the usual?

In MDC we got 2 weeks notice, and severance was 8 weeks plus 1 week for every year of service, and the year end bonus was prorated and then paid out at 75%.
in France you get (1,5month/year) + (3 months "prior notice") + (severance package which is about 0,75month/year). You also have the right to not accept and sue the employer if you judge that it's not enough and that you can get more.

Thank you.
Typically three weeks pay plus an additional week for each full year of service, at least that was what Dell used to give up to a little over a year ago when I got mine. If you live in one of the 7 US states that have a must pay vacation law you will also get any accrued vacation time paid as well.
What's the usual?
