How did this post turn from " Pontiac folks were moved to Auburn Hills last year" end of POST. To a discussion on DXC stock? Start a dam new post with the correct subject and we can discuss more with our pears.
There is certainly a strong fall rate in the stock and several downward sales signals means the stock is currently regarded as a negative evaluation right now. But that's only based on a few days and too early to conclude anything, especially as the overall trend has been high over the longer term.
Although, this does look like the strongest fall yet after a Quaterly call. The market signals are that the company could be looking to sell off at this point. I doubt it.
Once it falls past the breaking point of ($96.52) then investors would be urged to get out. Oops! Look - It's already gone past that point! Long term investors will hang on in there as they expect short term drops and hope for long term growth.
The current bottom line of this trend is set at $89.26 and DXC is now coming close to this point. So short-term, sweating investors will hope something positive happens soon - I mean in the next few days - to curb this fall.
DXC have promised a $0.19 dividend per share for all shareholders on July 17. So they will want to hang on in until then and hope the falling share price stops...well, falling. otherwise it will be safer to sell THE SHARES than wait for a dividend on them.
Quick DXC! Announce another acquisition with a bionix, analytical, automated, VR AI Cloud-based thingy-me-bob! At least put some candy in the shop window.
It's only its vast collateral that makes DXC look safe, but its ever changing board, operating models, constant redudancies (hard to believe in growth when its cutting like it is) and lack of credibility and pedigree (DXC has been around how long? DXC is made up from 2 failing companies?) is still not looking like it has got its act together yet and showing a solid foundation for growth.
