We haven't built a cloud product that the general market wants. We failed to develop a culture that makes our existing customers want to invest deeper with IBM. On the contrary, they (customers) are in a mad rush to peel us off...

Just read the 2018 Gartner report on IaaS . This is the cornerstone of IBM strategy and Gartner is crushing IBM's product and strategy. Even politicians behing held responsible for failures.....

IBM Cloud Private is one of the biggest product releases in IBM history. They must be doing something right in the 1 year they've been active.
IBM Cloud Private is a repackaging of Kubernetes and some other open source stuff... why would a customer really pay anything for that? Just easier to hire a few smart people and deploy Kubernetes on your own!
