Since IT was let go, as well as OM/AM and now they will let go call center, the people left behind will be minimal.. my comom sense tells me they will shift these jobs to another location.. anyone has info on this?

About 20 customer service people were let go in the past week. Any rumors on how long the remaining people will be kept?
Customer technical support is being outsourced to mainly Mexico (I believe Teleperformance is the 3rd party provider of the service). Also running from Greece for German support now. LaCie will be mostly impacted because people who pay big bucks for their products won't want to put up with incompetent customer service.
Wont be long before all of seagates manufacturing and IT move to Asia.
Most everyone in OKC will be scrapped. Some will be offered relocation, Most will be let go. The building is being put up for sale. Those valued by management who are staying will suffer the loss of long time colleagues. Very disruptive to the business while the Asia replacement teams get up to speed. There has already been customer facing issues related to the OKC shutdown.
