this really depends in what department your in......admissions, student support, faculty, etc and pissed off students trying to add their 2 cents to this discussion board. when help someone from day 1 - to 4 years later at graduation,its a big deal.
Now, every degree doesn't promise you anything. you as a person and the history you have - adds to the value of the degree.
i have seen students, that have graduated from DVU, receiving a good amount of compensation for a first time job. Now, there is a ton of students.....failing, withdrawing, abusing title iv funding, abusing va funding, a non-stop of appeals to return to school over and over again. these are the students that always have always have something to say.......it don't matter if you go to a community college, state school or DV, you had issues before any enrollment interest. students now, what loans to forgiveness- why? because they feel "entitled" and sorry to burst the bubble - you are not. so get in debt like the rest of us and pay your loan and find a job.....if doesn't work in 6 -12 months, then you are doing something wrong, not the school.
